Help for incarcerated drug and alcohol addicts

Results:

For Every Dollar Spent on Treatment, $5 is Saved on Incarceration

• Over 220 inmates have successfully graduated from the program since 2005.
• Participating inmates learning how to be responsible citizens for possibly the first time in their lives.
• Many graduates have been released from jail and are now leading productive lives in the Commonwealth.
• Some have gone on to obtain degrees and others have learned job skills allowing them to work at well paying  jobs and are now supporting  themselves and their families.
• We have managed to close the swinging door of recidivism that hundreds of these men have known and experienced for years.
• No longer are we just warehousing incarcerated people. Now they are learning how to stay out of jail rather than just how to be better criminals when they are released.
