How do I place money on an inmate's account? |
| Answer: |
Money can be placed on an inmate's account by the following methods:
- Cash (building 1 and 2 window)
- Money Order (by mail or at building 1 or 2 window)
- Credit / Debit card (by phone 270-685-8466 ext. 207 or at the Detention Center)
- Western Union - when sending money via Western Union, you will need to put the inmate's full name for the account #. The code city is "DCDC" and the code state is "KY'.
Note: Personal checks are NOT accepted for placing money on an inmate's account.

When are my jail fees due? |
| Answer: |
All fees are due 30 days after the release date. If cannot pay your balance in full, must contact the bookkeeper at 270-685-8466 ext. 207 before the due date to make payment arrangements. |
