The inmates' medical, mental health and dental care services are provided by a contract company, Southern Health Partners of Chattanooga Tennessee. SHP has vast experience and provides medical services to many jails throughout Kentucky and several other states.
Their service includes a 24 hour staffing plan, seven days a week.

To request medical care, a sick call request form is required from the inmates unless it is an emergency.

For concerns about a particular inmate's medical / mental needs, the public may contact the Medical Director at the facility by calling 270-685-8466, ext. 218. Please be aware that due to HIPPA regulations, private information pertaining to an individual patient probably cannot be answered but information deemed important and pertinent to your loved one to the medical department.
